ESN PALERMO VI PORTA AD AGRIGENTO E ALLA SCALA DEI TURCHI:
Ad Agrigento visiteremo la Valle dei Templi, un'area archeologica della Sicilia in cui vi è la presenza di importanti templi dorici del periodo ellenico. Corrisponde all'antica Akragas, nucleo originario della città di Agrigento. Oggi è parco archeologico regionale e patrimonio UNESCO. Nella valle è presente un tempio che, insieme al Partenone di Atene, è considerato il tempio dorico meglio conservato al mondo.
La Scala dei Turchi, invece, è una parete rocciosa che si erge a picco sul mare lungo la costa di Realmonte, in provincia di Agrigento. Presenta una forma ondulata e irregolare. Il nome le viene dato a causa delle passate incursioni di pirateria da parte dei saraceni, genti arabe e turche.
ESN Palermo è pronta per portarvi in questi fantastici luoghi, inoltre vi offrirà un piccolo pranzo e qualcosa da bere come aperitivo.

In Agrigento, we will visit the Valley of the Temples, the archaeological area of ​​Sicily where there is the presence of important Doric temples of the Hellenic period. La Scala dei Turchi, literally “the Stairs of Turks”, is a rock face that rises over the sea along the coast of Realmonte, in the province of Agrigento. It has a wavy and irregular shape. The name is given to it because of past piracy raids by the Saracens, Arab and Turkish people.
